This
passage talks about how David escaped the wroth of King Saul many times, the
bible recorded that it was 12 times. Saul through Jealousy and fear of the Man
David Has become and the praises that was song of David of Him slaying 1,000
and David slaying His 10,000 got him wroth with envy and he tried to kill David.
1. Put
yourself in David's shoe, what would you have done in David's position?
2. Would
you seek God's first?
3. Would
you take drastic measures to counter?
4. Does the
battle belong to you?
Our text
depicts four divine deliverance of David from the hand of King Saul. The first
is described in verses 1-7, where Jonathan rebukes and reasons with his father
about his response to David’s success. The second is recorded in verses 8-10,
where Saul providentially misses David when he throws his spear at him. The
third deliverance comes from Michal, David’s wife and Saul’s daughter. She
lowers David out their window, and then deceives her father and his servants to
give David time to escape.
Finally,
there is the religious deliverance of David through Samuel, and the prophesying
of the men whom Saul sends to capture David in verses 18-24.
Our God is the
same yesterday today and forever, the bible recorded that God was with David
always.
Many times
we try so hard to fights God's battle for Him, then it becomes a burden to us
and we start to think that God isn't answering our prayers,
A. How have
you presented the case to God?
B. Have you
acknowledged that the battle is of God?
C. Do you
believe that God is the Lord of your life that He is the one that has sent you
into this World to conquer?
God caused Micah,
David's wife who was the daughter of the king that wanted David dead to help
him.
God caused
the son of the king who wanted David dead to help Him escape.
The best
miracle was the messengers Saul sent to David when he was with Samuel in the
temple, instead of slaying David they started prophesying ". Decree upon
you life today that God almighty will turn the lips of your accusers to
prophesy good things about you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
We must
also take into consideration that always in every trials David went through,
the bible said and he behaved himself in the right way and seek the face of
God.
If God is
for us who can be against us. (Rom 8:28-31)
Is God
standing for you?
Are in a
right standing with God?
Have you
accepted the Lordship of Jesus Christ?
Are you
Born again?
Only then
can u partake of this divine intervention from God.
Accept
Jesus Today with Faith. And God will deliver you. If you want to accept Jesus
speak this word in all sincerity.
"Lord
Jesus, come into my life, I believe you died on the tree to wash way my sins,
forgive me all my sins, write my name in the book of life, I accept you as my
Lord and savior today, come and take over from now on, in Jesus name, Amen"
